Laboratorier, databaser og annet dyrt forskningsutstyr skal nå oppgraderes for til sammen 1,3 milliarder kroner, melder regjeringen. Totalt 28 prosjekter skal dele potten som deles ut via Forskningsrådet.
Blant mottakerne er Sigma2, det statlige selskapet som eier og drifter de nasjonale superdatamaskinene. Også Kavli-instituttet og NTNU får støtte til å utvikle utstyr og teknologi innen nevrovitenskap.
